I am thinking of organising a mini gig like an acoustic session. Let's say about 3 to 5 bands but the more the merrier. Hahaha. There are 2 main objectives in organising this mini gig
1) Band exposure
- New bands looking for an outlet to be exposed
2) Raise fund for a charity
- Raising money for those in need
But there's still lots of things to be done before this can be true. We need sponsors for speakers, microphones and instruments. We need a place to hold this event. We need to choose which charity will benefit from this. We need bands. We need YOU!
So, if you support this idea, please leave a comment. If anybody/bands is interested in being part of this event please add me on MSN (mike_hate_u@hotmail.com).
Help me help those in need. We want YOU! (:
My saturday was well spent I have to say. Street soccer in the morning was fun. After that we chilled at the void deck talking about secondary school days. It was hilarious. I laughed alot. Rafi remembers almost everything. Super memory. Hahaha.
In the evening was jamming session at Prinsep Street. A cool new place with new instruments. I likeeeeeee. As soon as I entered our room I was like, 'KEYBOARD!'. Hahahaha. Very happy got to play the keyboard. Played old songs and created a new song. It was fun. Dope jamming studio.
After that we decided to go eat at Tong Seng. This one best. I saw SYIDAH (: Happy kambing siol. Hahaha. Her dimple I tell you... SUPERB!
Lastly, we chilled somewhere near the esplanade. We were playing the guitar and singing when a caucasian guy walked, slowed down, stopped, looked at us and then sat near us. He was actually listening to our song. Lyana and Hazwan was shocked. Hahaha. Funny. We played a song for him and he said, 'Thank you for letting me listen'. It was kinda like our first mini performance. Hahahaha. That guy made our day.

Escape
She stands there alone, unnoticed
Taken for granted, treated like wall
Never the one to be missed
Somehow she’s invisible to all
Your tongue sharper than the knife
Slicing her heart with no mercy
The faceless soul trying hard to strive
Breaking free from the cruelty
Alas, she could take no more
Of all the pain and suffering
Freedom is like opening a door
The only thing she had been staring
With all her might and will she reached for it
Turning the knob to her freedom
Breaking free from the past bit by bit
All that had happened, she doesn’t need them
Now she is free like the butterfly
Fluttering anywhere as she wish
Closing the chapter and saying goodbye
Hoping that it will all diminish
Trust me.
Today I will introduce you the genre NINTENDOCORE.

Nintendocore (also known as NEScore) is a subgenre of music inspired by metalcore music and the instruments which accompany 8-bit video game soundtracks[1], most notably those on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).[2] It is characterized by sounding similar to 8-bit video game music/chiptunes, often combined with other genres of music, or remixed variations of old NES video game themes.
Cool huh.

Well, I tried my best and I guess it wasn't good enough.
I'm kinda pissed and sad that I didn't make it.
I feel so stupid man.
Nothing is ever enough.
Nothing is ever fair.
What do I have to do to make it?
Why me?
Why?
Why?
Why the fuck me?
I may look ok but inside I'm a mess.
Nonetheless, congratulations to those who made it.
I'm going off on the 13th of July.
